Trenton, NJ – Acclaimed artist and activist, Wise Intelligent, of the legendary Poor Righteous Teachers, has completed his highly anticipated 2nd solo album The Talented Timothy Taylor. Shaman Work Recordings has partnered with Intelligent Music, Wise Intelligent’s organization, to release the new album which will be distributed though KOCH Records. After a near ten year hiatus, Wise Intelligent is returning to tell his story through the art of rhyme and to remind others in the game that it is not about personas, record sales, or marketing schemes but that skill and of course… talent are what really matter.

Wise Intelligent has always been the type of vanguard artist that has existed comfortably on the razor’s edge of innovation and creativity. With this new album, Wise has raised the bar once again for MCing, diversity, lyricism, storytelling, and artistic integrity in hip hop. And with the showcasing of skills aside, this album takes the listener on a journey of how Timothy Taylor grew into the talented MC we all know today as Wise Intelligent. He wants to let the listener see his steps, his missteps, and how he became one of the illest MC’s to bless a mic. The lyrics are not the only element of this release that contain talent. The line up of producers includes The HavKnotz (Masada, PJ, and Wise Intelligent), OH NO! (MadLib’s younger brother), Ammbush, and Traxzilla.

The partnership between Shaman Work Recordings and Intelligent Music developed out of the mutual respect which each organization has had for each other. Born Free, Intelligent Music’s Director of Communications stated that “there has been no diversity of ideas, no difference in texture” in most of the music being released lately so as Wise crafted the album, this was one of the key motivations. Eyebrows and interest were later raised among those in the Shaman camp at the idea of a joint venture. The agreement was finalized, and the blend of Wise’s revolutionary ideas was a perfect match with the standard of quality music Shaman Work has become known for.

Wise Intelligent is the pinnacle of an MC’s MC, and The Talented Timothy Taylor is the kind of album and experience that no one can afford to miss, overlook, or ignore!
